This is usually not my style (except for the green and orange lights/wall), but I really like this bedroom. I don't have room to pull this off right now, but I just thought I'd share it here in case someday I do have room to pull it off.
This, of course, is from the greatness of Ikea (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/rooms/bedroom/). A friend turned me on to them years ago and now that we have one less than 60 miles away from here - woo hoo! Most who know me, know this is one of my favorite stores and I really like their style. Much of my house is furnished by them.
Maybe someday .... :)

I have to say, I like the look of this room. Kinda of dorm-ish. I LOVE Ikea to! I think they are fabulous. I got the 2007 catalog and got my re-adjustable arrow stickers (the ones you use to annotate where you want someone to sign.). And marked up all the pages I liked and stuff I wanted to get... I was so excited. Than the worst things happened. It got flood damage. :( When my toilet over flowed the catalog caught the sewer wrath. I was so sad. I was thinking, maybe I'll call and request another. But what do I tell them?... "Uh, hello Ikea? I would like to request another catalog cause the one you already sent got water logged... Yes, water logged. Oh, that, I always read it while I'm on the shitter..." Hmm. Maybe not. Maybe I can order it online. Gotta see. Needless to say I love them to. And maybe you'll be able to have a whole Ikea house. I really like the kitchens and cabinet organizer things those are my favorite.
Hey off the subject, hows Cow Town? No flooding or any craziness from the hurricane I hope.
I didn't think this looked too dormy. I was in the dorms for four and a half years and we did not have that much room. I don't have that much room now! lol
I haven't received their catalog yet. I bet they'd send you another one if you asked nicely. :)
Cowtown is great. We are not flooding - not even close. I've had to water almost every night because we haven't had rain in a while. I don't water a ton, but the planters get dried out so much faster when it's hot here. Chance of rain next week, though.
We had the tropical storm kind of skirt us last week and that brought some rain, which was great, but it didn't flood us out like the poor people in Oklahoma!
