Especially when you can get fresh fruit for yummy desserts. Something about fresh blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries that just makes my tummy smile.
Honestly, this was not even for myself; this was Mom's. I made hers look much prettier than mine.

I was thinking about summer and was sad to realize that its almost over. Cam will go back to school... Oh well...
Strawberries look good. You get them at a farm or store? We've got a strawberry stand a few miles away from where we live. We brought home 3 baskets a while back and it was gone that night. They where so good too. I should go get more.
Sorry I've been slow, Poogness! I just got my rechargeable batteries recharged and was able to get those pictures off the camera (I took the pics when I didn't have the memory card in it so it was on the camera's memory which can only be removed by linking it directly to the computer which requires fresh batteries!!!).
I think that's the longest parenthetical sentence I've ever written! lol
Anyway, we got the strawberries at the stores. The raspberries and blueberries too. We have been to the farmers' market lately, but they don't grow those around here. You can find blackberries at the farmers' market. Right now the farmers' market is full of watermelons, cantaloupes, peaches, okra, green beans, squash (yellow and zucchini), and tomatoes. At least, in our part of Texas that's what we got! (:
School time is coming. I have one week more before I have to go to training. Then I'll have another week off and then to work and then the next week the kids come!
Also, the dish has cubes of angel food cake, cool whip, and berries. Sorry, I forgot to add that before!
