Lightning Jesus

This is a picture of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is the tallest statue of Jesus and was named as one of the Sevens Wonders of the World.

This gives new meaning to the term "light up baby Jesus"!

I saw this photo on a news site or yahoo's photo site and thought it was very interesting. With my fascination with light up baby plastic Jesuses, I thought this fit well.

This decoupage experiment from Chris Glass's journal looks like a lot of fun and I already have a unused canvas laying around here somewhere ... oh yeah, I have the mod podge, too.


I'm trying to think if I've ever decoupaged anything ... we did one in girl scouts when I was young (many moons ago). It was of Jesus ... I think my mom still has it. I guess my gluebooks are kind of decoupaged too. Interesting. If I do this I'll post the pictures of it. I know I still need to post the pictures of gluebook number two and when I finish the third one I'll post that as well.
